Who you are? Who your customers think you are? Every organization has a brand. But, counter intuitively, brands are really built in people's mind, not in the marketplace.Brand building is about consciously creating the perceptions you want others to have of your product, service or company.
The relationship between a company and its customer is based on a brand promise. A brand promise is essentially what the company says it will do for the customer. This promise is what customers perceive they can expect from the company. Think Volvo. What comes to mind? Safety, of course.
